Ensorcelor

A year after their first release, "Urarctica Begins" we got Ensorcelor's "Crucifuge". It features only two long songs.. and sounds quite different from its predecessor, this one is more cohesive. The atmosphere is less doleful and grieving, replaced by the feeling of something inevitably sinister and menacing. Skin deep fear creeps out of every note of this album and permeates the listener's mind. The production is also a bit better than before. Better as in dirtier and more obnoxious, that is. This release was quite a good surprise and just hope that Ensorcelor keep on bringing more good stuff like this.  Reinvigorating and never boring venomous sludge. "Crucifuge" is indeed a name to fit in your top list of 2011.
