Heresiarch

Heresiarch is a New Zealand act involving a few of the Diocletian guys and a few who work exclusively within this project. "Hammer of Intransigence" is their second release, following a brief demo earlier in the year, and I was immediately struck by the excellent cover art. Heresiarch’s brand of black/death decimates life and "Hammer of Intransigence" is the soundtrack that foreshadows a destructive and apocalyptic future. Six songs = 22 minutes; "Hammer of Intransigence" is an oppressive, hate-filled display documenting the bleak outcome of man. Be prepared. And also, if you like what you hear, support the band for their upcoming releases in the future, buy the EP here.
