Sangus Legio "Vengeful Brutality"

Hello boys and girls. Today i bring some rotten, putrid, new evil stuff. You can still see and smell the fresh blood on this one...

Sangus Legio are, as described by themselves, a misanthropic black thrash unit, coming from Providence, RI, formed by members of Paindriver, Haxen, Sin of Angels, Nachzehrer & I, Destroyer. Quoting names as Sarcofago, Impaled Nazarene, Nifelheim and Driller Killer as their main influences, is not difficult to guess what to expect here: three tracks of the most fast, vicious-as-fuck, straight-hate, killer black punk metal assault.

Man... the only thing that comes to my mind every time i hear "Vengeful Brutality" are: rivers of beer, loud motorbikes and worshiping Satan. Shit. This is really good stuff. If you get the chance, please don't miss this band live. I, personally, will be glad with a full-length soon. The Army of Lucifer is recruiting... join the Army now!

Black Breath "Sentenced To Life"

Ok, i know this is an album many of you are expecting (including myself) so I'm gonna blindly post this here on FxC... heard only a preview track some time ago and read that this new release is more Death Metal-ish than "Heavy Breathing". So enough chitchat and let's get to business... it's 9 a.m and i have my boss peaking over my shoulder already... Buy this here.

Mutilation Rites "I Am Legion"

Mutilation Rites are back with this brand new EP "I Am Legion". Each of the three songs on "I Am Legion" are entirely re-worked and re-recorded versions of early Mutilation Rites demos, I already posted the two  MR Demos here on FxC. What could you expect on this new EP? Another great dose of that filthy and thrashy Black Metal. This one is getting out through the hand of Gilead Media, so be sure to support this awesome band by picking one copy here. A big thanks to my friend Luxury_Cannibal from the amazing Perception Through Dissonance for pointing me the way to this one.

Katechon "Demo" Tape

Here is another sweet find i made on Bandcamp a few weeks ago. Katechon, come from Trondheim, Norway. This is their Demo Tape that features three tracks of this awesome moldy Death Metal with some Thrash, Crust and Black influences. Besides that typical Demo sound, the songs have this occult and dark hidden face that will unfold along the music, although the Demo is short, it's pure concentrated goodness. These guys are preparing their first 7'' that, as they promise, it will be darker and more twisted than this Demo Tape. I really hope so, 'cause that's exactly the sort of things i like. Follow them thru their Facebook. Check them out below.

Nachzehrer "Pestilence Hungers in the Shadows"

First i gotta say this.. what's the deal in bands now having german names? Before we had Seelenmord, Blut der Nacht and now Nachzehrer. Is it some kind of hype? Or just because it gives that grrrrimm touch and freezing chill from head to toe when you whisper the band's name? Nevermind...

Rising from the pits of Boston, MA in 2009, Nachzehrer plays raw black metal combined with black thrash speed and aggression. In 2010 they put out the four song demo "Black Thrash Ritual" as a limited tape release on Massachusetts-based label Reaper's Grave, followed up by the 2011 EP "Pestilence Hungers in the Shadows" as a split-label release on Demons Gate Records/Tombs in the Valley Productions from the UK. They have shared the stage with Destroyer 666, Enthroned, Evoken, Nocturnal, Midnight, Impiety, Abazagorath, Absu and many more, unleashing a chaotic assault of blasphemic devastation with each live ritual! Damn right! Nachzehrer is some sort of german misfit vampire that consumes only dead bodies. This description suits perfectly to the sound that Nachzehrer brings. "Pestilence Hungers in the Shadows" delivers 6 tracks of some pure evil, fast, rotten and flesh decaying Black Metal.. like a fuckin horde of panzers made out of rotten corpses, crushing skulls as they march in a field of perdition. Judging by the pics of their live shows (and these guys are unstoppable) i can tell this band delivers one hell of a ball, so if you get them playing in your city, be sure to don't miss them live. These guys will have soon a Split release with Ipsissimus, all i can say is that i look forward to hear it. Meanwhile check "Pestilence Hungers in the Shadows" below.

Ruins

Ruins is a blasphemous blackened thrash outfit that draws their influences from old-school acts such as Darkthrone, Voivod, Hellhammer and Bathory. But while there are quite literally hundreds of thousands of bands within today’s metal scene that draw upon the same said influences, there are few that manage to successfully capture the vibe and the sound of the above mentioned acts with such authenticity and energy. “Chambers of Perversion” was originally released in 2010 as a 10” vinyl limited to 250 copies and sold out almost immediately. The record contained 8 songs of Black fucking Speed Metal and one hell of artwork done by, who else.. Mark Riddick. This has got to be one of the sickest covers i've seen. Buy it here.

Coldwar

Formed in late 99. Coldwar started out mixing equal parts hardcore punk and extreme metal into an angry incendiary assault. They have shared stage with bands like Sepultura, Suffocation, Discharge, Converge, Exploited, GBH, Napalm Death amongst many others . "Christus Deathshead" is the fourth release from the band, it is a concept album dealing with global issues gelled together with a biblical revelations theme, advanced military complex, far right Christian propaganda, global warfare, economics and politics.

Musically speaking, Coldwar plays a mix of a thrashy death metal with some crust and sometimes grind attitude, it sounds something between Sepultura and Acephalix with bits of Discharge. The album itself is a short one, but showing the band deliver a pissed-off and aggressive sonic assault. The drumming is rather relentless and hellish, supplemented by some killer riffs and equally ferocious vocals. "Christus Deathshead" is definitely an album that is worth of your attention, as there’re no gimmicks, no imitations or compromise. This is a straight-up-your-face assault challenging both your ears and your brain.

Apocalypse Command

"Damnation Scythes of Invincible Abomination" é o primeiro longa-duração desta banda que reúne ex-membro de Angelcorpse, Impiety (Gene Palubicki) e ex-Diocletian (C.Sinclair aka Necrobastard da banda Witchrist). Uma mistura de old school death metal com influências thrash e black. A velocidade deste álbum é tal que mal conseguimos distinguir entre faixas. Curto, veloz e blasfematório.
