The Rain In Endless Fall "Weald of Introspection"

Here's another stunning release by Fallen Empire. Another very promising Black Metal act, The Rain In Endless Fall. Another project coming from Blut Der Nacht. Guess these guys were struck by inspiration and created two amazing projects in one row, first Wylve now The Rain In Endless Fall. Although coming from the same source, both bands have differences. While Wylve are more harsh and violent, The Rain In Endless Fall with their "Weald of Introspection" cassette are more atmospheric and depressing, but not too depressing... that "depression" is enhanced by the sound of thunders and rain. I really enjoyed this one as well, great stuff. And i fuckin' love that logo man. This tape is also sold out and a repress will come soon at FE, so if you want to grab a piece of this beauty, keep an eye on them.. Highly Recommended.

  1. The Rain in Endless Fall get their name from the late '90s vegan metalcore band Prayer for Cleansing; pre-Between The Buried And Me (featuring Paul Waggoner on guitar, Will Goodyear, who also played drums on BTBAM's self-titled release, and Tommy "Giles" Rogers on bass). Pretty interested to check this out.

  2. Hmmm..... sure.......

These Black Metal dvdes are tryin' to see if they can pull off all of those metalcoreveganprogressivedeathbláblácore into BM...

it's just the name they came up with. No association at all.

    Trust me.

  3. Dude, both Demos (Wylve and this) sound fucking awesome. And BOTH logos rule, haha! Nice Post!

  4. Indeed my friend, glad you're enjoying it.

  5. Dude, any metalhead over the age of twenty living in American has heard of Prayer For Cleansing and their debut EP The Rain In Endless Fall. It was a definitive release that shaped American aggressive music for years to come. Granted, it hasn't aged very well, but it's still true. I trust you, sure, but The Rain In Endless Fall definitely got their name from the aforementioned Prayer For Cleansing EP. Subconsciously, perhaps, but that's definitely where their name comes from. Ain't trying to out-metalnerd you or anything, but I'd bet my cajones on it. Shit's from the 90s. (Tribunal Records remastered and re-released it in '03, whenever this since sound started getting huge in the States.)

  6. Great releases! Raw/Depressive/Violent
    Can't wait for the re-release!
